January and February updates

Cheer and soccer started for the little Sparks - they both loved it!  Addi was in her element learning cheers and performing halftime shows and AJ was loving running around after the ball for 30 minutes with other energetic kids.

We had friends over for a weekend in January - the best part was watching the Seahawks beat the Packers!  Everyone got into the game, including the kids, and it was a packed house!

Birthday lunch for my mom - always entertaining with the kids around!

My friend Jill and I took the kids to Disney Junior - the best part was the Jake and The Neverland Pirates show.  The kids had a great time!

In late January Aaron and I headed to Arizona with our friends Andy, Jill, Alex and Amanda.  It was great to get away - great weather, cocktails, good food, and lots of laughs!  We made it to the Waste Management Open which was a blast.  I got to spend time with my good friend Lacey at the tournament and even over dinner - she and her hubby came all the way from Tennessee!  The next day we prepped for the big Superbowl - we had a party at the house we rented (which was amazing) and watched the game from the outdoor patio/tv room.  Although the game ended bad, we really did have such a good time watching it.  The rest of the trip was spent relaxing and soaking up the sun!

The following weekend included a small party for Addi's birthday, followed by the Father/Daughter Ball.  Addi's cousin Abby and her dad came into town and the four of them went to dinner, then to the dance.  The girls got their hair, makeup and nails done - they were in heaven!  That same night Aaron's mom, aunt and brother and I took AJ out to Red Robin for his own special night, followed by video games at the house.

Addi chose a hotel slumber party this year for her birthday party, so the following weekend her and three friends enjoyed pizza, swimming, candy, movies, make-up session, etc at a local hotel.  A friend (and also one of the mom's) helped out, which was much needed.  These girls were active!

I didn't take any pics, but we also had a fun weekend in February where my sister and nephew came into town and we had game night and pizza at my mom's with my brother and his family too.  Then Aaron's parents came into town and we spent the day watching the kids in cheer and soccer and just hanging out.  It was nice to spend time with the families!

November and December recap!

November and December were packed full of family time and great memories were made!

Addi lost another tooth!

Addi and I learned how to make Granny’s famous apple pie!

We made our way to Sequim for Thanksgiving.  Unfortunately I didn’t take too many pictures, but we did enjoy some amazing food, watched the Seahawks win, the kids spent hours playing with their cousins, took the kids to a movie, and we had an adult cousins night that still makes me laugh.  It was nice to see everyone!

Annual wine tasting with great friends!

New Years Eve was great – we were lucky to get 4 siblings and their spouses together (and throw in my niece Kelsee since she can drink now) for a fun night of dinner, drinking and lots of laughs!

Our little man was the Soldier(so fitting) in his classroom Christmas program - he did great!

Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures of my mom’s Christmas, but we ate her amazing breakfast spread and spent hours watching the kids play with the 5 dogs!
